Q

How does economic development impact global food supply?

A

•economic development means countries are getting wealthier and therefore have more disposable income to spend on food. They often buy a greater variety of food and more than they need
•industrialisation of agriculture means some countries are able to produce more food at a lower cost therefore food becomes cheaper so people can afford to eat more
