- Helped many countries develop and implement laws that criminalise wartime rape - helped countries devise programs which assist victims to rebuild their lives + provide training for police officer and judges to be better equipped to address such crimes

YES
Immediately better equipped than any other organisation to deliver humanitarian aid, reduce poverty and raise the welfare of LEDC citizens
Although global governance is trailed by unequal and shifting power, with some countries looked upon more favourably than others, this is outweighed by the amount of goodwill the UN does
