INSERTION: Lateral lip of the intertubercular (bicipital) groove
INNERVATION: Medial and Lateral Pectoral Nerve (C7-8, T1) and C5-7)
DELTOID
ORIGIN: Lateral 1/3 of the clavicle, acromion, Spine of the scapula
INSERTION: Deltoid Tuberosity
INNERVATION: Axillary Nerve (C5-6)
LATISSIMUS DORSI
ORIGIN: Spinous process of T6-12, Lumbar and Sacral Spinous Processes, Posterior Iliac Crest, Thoracolumbar fascia
INSERTION: Medial lip and floor of Bicipital (intertubercular) groove
INNERVATION: Thoracodorsal Nerve (C6-8)
TERES MAJOR
ORIGIN: Inferior angle of the scapula
INSERTION: Medial lip of the intertubercular (bicipital) groove
INNERVATION: Lower subscapular nerve (C5-6)
SUBCLAVIUS
ORIGIN: 1st Rib
INSERTION: Undersurface of the clavicle
INNERVATION: Nerve to Subclavius (C5-6)
CORACOBRACHIALIS
ORIGIN: Coracoid process
INSERTION: Middle 1/3 of the medial humerus
INNERVATION: Musculocutaneous Nerve (C5-7)
SUPRASPINATUS
ORIGIN: Supraspinatus fossa
INSERTION: Greater tubercle of the humerus
INNERVATION: Suprascapular Nerve (C5-6)
INFRASPINATUS
ORIGIN: Infraspinatus fossa
INSERTION: Greater tubercle of the humerus (below supraspinatus)
INNERVATION: Suprascapular Nerve (C5-6)
TERES MINOR
ORIGIN: Upper 2/3 of the axillary border of the scapula
INSERTION: Greater tubercle of the humerus (below infraspinatus)
INNERVATION: Axillary Nerve (C5-6)
SUBSCAPULARIS
ORIGIN: Subscapular fossa
INSERTION: Lesser tubercle of the humerus
INNERVATION: Upper and lower subscapular Nerve (C5-6)
