What are the five types of Glacial Formations?
Moraine, Drumlin, Esker, Kettle, Kame
What are the Till Plains?
Large Region of Glacial Till deposit; most of North and Western Ohio
The soil formation of Esker is?
Long, snaky ridge of stream deposits formed under a glacier
The soil formation of Drumlin is?
Formed under a glacier as gravel and sand washed beneath; the point shows the direction of glacial retreat
The soil formation of Kame is?
Deposit of gravels that once laid on top of the glacier
The soil formation of Kettle is?
Depressions left where ice chunks were once buried in glacial till
The soil formation of Moraine is?
Till material pushed up at the end edge of a glacier (Terminal, Medial, and Lateral Moraines)
