Proctosedyl Ointment
Ingredients: Cinchocaine 5 mg/g and Hydrocortisone 5 mg/g
Indications: Haemorrhoids
Instructions: Apply to the affected area TDS for up to a week. Can use applicator for internal haemorrhoids.

Instructions: Insert one supplied into rectum TDS for up to one week
Anusol Ointment

Gaviscon Dual Action
Ingredients: Sodium alginate, calcium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate
Indications: GORD
Instructions: Adult, >12 years 20 mL after meals and before bed up to QID. 6-12 years, 10 mL as per above.

Ingredients: Pantoprazole 20 mg
Indications: GORD
Instructions: 1 tab daily for 7 to 14 days (refer to Dr if symptoms persist for longer)
Nexium
Ingredients: Esomeprazole 20 mg
Indications: GORD
Instructions: 1 tab daily for 7 to 14 days (refer to Dr if symptoms persist for longer)
Hydralyte
Ingredients: Oral rehydration salt
Indication: Dehydration
Instructions: Take TWO effervescent tablets or the contents of ONE sachet in 200 mL of water up to hourly. Refrigerate and discard after 24 hours.
Imodium/Gastrostop
Ingredients: Loperamide 2 mg
Indication: Diarrhoea
Instructions: 2 tabs stat, then 1 tab after every loose bowel motion (maximum 8 tab per day)
Lomotil
Ingredients: Diphenoxylate/atropine 2.5 mg/25 microg
Indication: Diarrhoea
Instructions: 2 tabs TDS to QID (max 8 tabs daily)
Kwells
Ingredients: Hysocine hydrobromide 300 microg
Indication: motion sickness
Instructions: 1-2 tabs QID 30 minutes before travel
TravaCalm Original
Ingredients: Dimenhydrate 50 mg, Hyoscine hydrobromide 200 microg, Caffeine 20 mg

Instruction: > 12 years, 1 to 2 tabs QID 30 minutes before travel. 8 to 12 years, 1 tab QID 30 minutes before travel. 4 to 7 years, 0.5 tab QID 30 minutes before travel. 2 to 3 years, 0.25 tab QID 30 minutes before travel.

Ingredients: Ginger 500 mg
Indication: Motion sickness (PREFERRED FOR PREGNANCY)
Instructions: > 12 years, 1-2 tabs QID 30 minutes before travel. 8 to 12 years, 0.5-1 tab QID 30 minutes before travel.

Instructions: 1 or 2 capsules PRN after meals or at bedtime. Max 5 capsules/day.

Ingredients: Peppermint oil 0.2 mL capsule
Indication: IBS
Instructions: 1 capsule TDS 30 minutes before meals. Swallow capsule whole with water, preferably 30 minutes before meals. Do not take immediately after a meal.

Ingredients: Macrogol (osmotic laxative)
Indications: Constipation
Instructions: > 12 years (Original) 1 to 3 sachets daily. 6 to 11 years (Jnr) 2 sachets daily. 2 to 5 years (Jnr) 1 sachet daily.
Actilax
Ingredients: Lactulose
Indications: Constipation
Instructions: > 12 years, initially 20 mL BD then 20 mL daily. 7 to 11 years, 15 mL daily. 1 to 6 years 10 mL daily. 1 month to 12 months, 5 mL daily.
Glycerol Suppository

Indication: Constipation
Instructions: > 12 years, 1 supp (2.8 g) daily. 1 to 11 years 1 child supp (1.4 g) daily. 1 month to 11 months 1 infant supp (0.7 g) daily.

Ingredients: Saline enema
Indications: Constipation
Instructions: > 12 years, full length nozzle rectally and administer the entire contents. 1 month to 3 years, half the length of the nozzle rectally and administer entire contents.

Ingredients: Docusate 50 and Senna 8 mg
Indications: Constipation
Instructions: > 12 years, 1 to 2 tabs nocte (max 4 tabs daily). 6 to 12 years, 1 to 2 tabs nocte.

Indication: Constipation in < 3 years
Instructions: 18 months to 3 years 0.8 mL TDS. 6 to 17 months 0.5 mL TDS. < 6 months 0.3 mL TDS.

Ingredients: Mebendazole 100 mg
Indications: Threadworm/Pinworm
Instructions: Adult, > 2 years (> 10 kg) 1 tab single dose. 6 months - 2 years (< 10 kg) 0.5 tab as a single dose. REPEAT dose in 2 weeks.
Combantrin
Ingredients: Pyrantel
Indications: Threadworm/pinworm (preferred in pregnancy)
Instructions: Adult, > 1 year 10 mg/kg (max 1 g dose) as a single dose. REPEAT dose after 2 weeks.
