hypochloraemic, hypokalaemic alkalosis
What is the hallmark sign of pyloric stenosis?
non-bilious projectile vomiting
How can you differentiate between mesenteric ischemia and ischemic colitis?
- mesenteric ischemia = small bowel, sudden onset, pain out of proportion
- ischemic colitis = large bowel, more gradual onset, pain not as bad
