What is the STOPP tool?
The STOPP tool identifies medications where the risk outweighs the therapeutic benefits in certain conditions
What is the PRISMA-7 questionnaire?
A validated questionnaire that can be used to confirm frailty in an individual
What are the side effects of amitriptyline?
Dry eyes, dry mouth, hypotension (often postural) and delirium
Other side-effects include constipation, urinary retention, arrhythmias (including QT interval prolongation) and hypothermia
What are the symptoms of digoxin toxicity?
Gastrointestinal disturbance (nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain), dizziness, confusion, blurry or yellow vision, and arrhythmias
Name a drug that can precipitate gout
Indapamide and other thiazide diuretics

How can Lewy body dementia can be differentiated from idiopathic Parkinson’s disease dementia?
Time of onset of the dementia compared to the motor symptoms
PDD is diagnosed if a patient had a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis for at least 1 year
What is the START tool?
The START tool suggests medications that may provide additional benefits ie proton pump inhibitors for gastroprotection in patients on medications increasing bleeding risk
