Q

Name the 3 aspects to development and explain each

A

Economic aspects:
when we talk about how wealthy person or country is, we are referring to economic aspects of development. one indicator is per capita income (average amount of money person earns per year). another important economic aspect is how country earns its money. poorer countries often earn most of money from primary activities. more developed countries from secondary activities.

social aspect:
indicators of social aspects of development include quality of life and access to goods and services. access to basic needs (e.g. clean water) also part of social aspect. more developed countries usually have strong democracies

environmental aspects:
how countries use natural resources plays big part in development. main environmental aspect of development is how sustainable level of development in country is. environmentally sustainable development causes little long-term damage to environment as possible
