How did Berlin developed
Begun around an island in the river Spree, that is the historical city center. Later it spread to “under der linden” what turned out going to be a central business district (CBD)
We’re were factory’s built and what are the “neirboorhoods” around them
Factories were built near water, railways and highways. The neirboorhoods around them are urban neirboorhoods like the Jordaan and the people who worked in the factories lived there

Berlin was divided in: east = Russian and west = American, British and French
Why did the Russians built that wall?
Because many Germans fled to West Germany, and to prevent that the Russians built a wall
The original city center was in the East, were did the west built their native city center?
The west built their new city center around “Kurfürstendamm”

There was a strip of “no man’s land” near the wall, “no one was allowed there”
