Bacteria may copy and then share pieces of DNA with other bacteria, via plasmids.
How can DNA move from one organism to another, Artificially?
Artificial genetic engineering involves transferring pieces go chromosome containing sections of DNA from one organism to another.
What is the organism said to be?
Genetically modified
What will the organism now do?
Use genetic material in the sae way, and manufacture any protein.
What is one organism used in genetic engineering?
Bacteria.
How has bacteria been genetically engineered?
To make human genes, to then make types of human protein.
What can genetically modified bacteria make?
Insulin.
