- DNA is a complex chemical that carries genetic information.
- DNA is contained in chromosomes which are found in the nucleus of most cells

- Chromosomes are X – shaped objects found in the nucleus of most cells.
- The cells nucleus contains chromosomes made from long DNA molecules.

-Gene is a short section of the NA. Each gene codes for a specific protein by specifying the order in which amino acid’s must be joined together

Mitosis
A
– Mitosis is a type of cell division.
– Mitosis occurs where ever more cells are needed
- By mitosis a cell splits to create two identical copies of the original cell

The cell grows bigger and increases the most to replicated DNA to form two copies ready for cell division

A
One set of chromosome is pulled to each end of the dividing cell and the nucleus divides.
