A

2-5kts

33
Q

Which side AoA sends information to AoA indicator?

A

Left side (captain side)

34
Q

Why will the elevator be heavy when pusher interrupt is activated?

A

FO side interrupt will stop the servo

Captain side interrupt will stop the servo and capstan clutch

35
Q

What is the max altitude for an air start?

A

20,000ft

36
Q

What is the approximate glide ratio for a PC-12 in clean config with prop feathered?

A

1:15

Multiply altitude by 2.5 to get distance

37
Q

How long will it take to descend from FL280 to surface in bet glide with engine off?

A

approximately 35min

(Using typical glide descent rate)

38
Q

Will trim runaway warble tone sound for both trim motors or only certain one?

A

Only for manual trim.

39
Q

How much flap asymmetry is required to illuminate FLAPS CAWS light?

A

5 degree difference

40
Q

What category is the PC-12 certified for?

A

Normal category

41
Q

What are the 2 service bays at the front of the aircraft?

A

Left bay is wet (fuel system)

Right bay is dry (ECS system)

42
Q

What is the propeller ground clearance and and at the max C of G limit?

A

Nose wheel properly inflated at MTOW and at most forward C of G is 12.5”

Nose wheel strut completely compressed is 1.9”

43
Q

What is the engien rated at?

A

1600 SHP flat rated to 1200 SHP

44
Q

What is the firewall comprised of?

A

Titanium and covered in insulation

45
Q

What does the torque limiter do?

A

Prevents engine from exceeding 44.34 TRQ.

If the oil pressure to the prop exceeds 44.34 the spring valve is open, causing a drop in Py pressure in the FCU, therefore slightly reducing Ng, Nf (compressor turbine speed) and Np.

46
Q

What does Py pressure correspond to?

A

FCU, reduces metered fuel flow if Py drops.

47
Q

What does the purge can do?

A

Prevents residual fuel; i.e. shoves the remaining fuel back into the combustion chamber to be further burned off during engine shutdown
