Area of dead tissue due to a lack of blood supply

Localized lack of blood supple to an area

Foul-smelling

Palpable
Able to be touched or easily perceived
Polydipsia
Persistent thirst or frequent drinking of liquids; possibly indicative of diabetes
Rupture
The breaking-open of a bodily structure
Sepsis
Dangerous infection of the blood with pathological microorganisms or their toxins
Avulsion
A forcible pulling away from a part or a structure (detached from origin)
Crepitus
a crackling or grating sound usually of bones
Effusion
Escape of fluid into the cavity (pleural effusion)

Tumor consisting of blood vessels
Benign
Normal; of no danger to health
Stellate
star-shaped, radiating from the center
