What is the intake around Cancelled Hotel Collect Bookings?

A

When a HC reservation is cancelled, the hotel may say they didnt recieve the notification and they may charge the guest. The only recorse is to dispute the charge with the CC Company. Other option is to refund the guest and charge hotel but we need a policy around this.

What problem do we have with Coupons issuance?

A

Guests on the Expedia POS have the option of creating a permanant account or they can skip the process and we supply a single use account. If we put coupons on the single use account, they are lost.

What happens if a HC supplier cancels a reservation but wants to re-instate it?

A

Currently, they cannot re-instate the reservation. There is an intake to add this functionallity to EPC.

Why does an agent assign a coupon to a single use ECOM account?

A

They do not at first glance know if the account is temporary or permanant. There are extra steps to go into the Account Overview.

A

Agent currently has to call the hotel in order to reconcile the amount. There is an intake to add the ability to email the supplier for them to reconcile the account.
