What is argued about women, compensators and sects? (4)
Women are more likely to face scial deprivation and marginalisation.
Organismic deprivation: Physical and mental problems associated with being female. E.G: Periods, post-partum depression.
Ethical deprivation: Women have a better moral ground by following rules and seeking justice.
Social deprivation: Due to employment women are more likely to be poor.
What is argued about women and the new age? (3)
Women may experience role conflict between their role in work (public sphere) and their role ate home (private).
Woodhead- the new age appeals to a third sphere which is the indivudal sphere where they can grow.
It creates a new source of identity for women based on their inner self rather than their social roles.

Rinaldo - attractive to women because it gives them control over the relationship as men can only stay in that relationship and women can use it to their addvantage.
