What is Dominican Republic Syndrome?
A genetic enzyme disorder that prevents testosterone from masculinizing the external gentials. Boys resembled females and are raised as such. At puberty, secondary sex characteristics developed.
What is criticism of gender-identiry disorder (GID)?
- Pathologizes transgendered persons - Cross gender behaviour is an unproblematic variation, not a mental disorder
