- Drug side effect: NSAID, nitrate, bisphosphonate, CCB, corticosteroid, alpha blocker, anti-muscarinic, bblocker, TCA
- Pregnancy

Treatment: uninvestigated GORD

PPI 4 weeks
- H pylori test → if positive: eradication therapy
- High risk ppt: elderly, north africans + certain are

Treatment: severe oesophagitis

PPI 8 weeks

Treatment: endoscopy confirmed

PPI 4 or 8 weeks OR H2 receptor antagonist

Treatment: pregnancy
A
First line: diet + lifestyle → antacids → omeprazole (severe symptoms)
