- Gastric reflux
- Belching
- Bloating
- Nausea + vom

Red flags
A
- Gastro-intestinal bleeding
- Unexplained weight loss
- Dysphagia
- 55+ years (unexplained Weight loss or upper abdominal pain, reflux or dyspepsia)

Cause
A
- Functional
- Peptic ulcers
- GORD
- Cancer
- Drug side effect: NSAIDs, nitrate, bisphosphonate, CCB, corticosteroid

Treatment: uninvestigated dyspepsia
A
PPI 4 weeks
- H pylori test → if positive: eradication therapy
- High risk ppt: elderly, north africans + certain areas

Treatment: functional dyspepsia
A
PPI OR H2 receptor antagonist 4 weeks
- H pylori test → if positive: eradication therapy
