• Peptic ulcers
• GORD
• Cancer
• Drug side effect: NSAIDs, nitrate, bisphosphonate, CCB, corticosteroid

Question 4

Treatment: uninvestigated dyspepsia

PPI 4 weeks
- H pylori test → if positive: eradication therapy
- High risk ppt: elderly, north africans + certain areas

Treatment: functional dyspepsia

Answer 5

PPI OR H2 receptor antagonist 4 weeks
- H pylori test → if positive: eradication therapy
