A

Heel strike - controlled relaxation of plantar flexion, eccentric contraction of ant. leg muscles, inverters and everters stabilise, gluteus minimus and medius and tensor fascia lata for balance
Move onto ball of foot - plantar flexion

Lift limb - flexion of thigh and leg
Raise foot - dorsiflexion
Final swing - extension of leg (at knee)
