creating a vertical or horizontal (usually vertical) end to formwork
what are two uses of chamfer strip?
bevel corners of the formwork to give the concrete a nice finished edge. And a levelling strip for troweling

whats the difference between a key and a keyway?
a key sticks out and key way is a grove that sticks in
what is a ledger?
a horizontal member that a slab form sits on at the wall, like a ledge
what is a rustication strip?
a strip of wood the creates a joint. similar too a keyway
