Periauricular lymph node enlargement
Treatment of localised acute otitis media
If there’s no abscess formation
Systemic antibiotics(since it’s a staph infection)
Analgesics
Hot compress
10%ichthmmol glycerine
If abscess has been formed
Incision and drainage

Glycerine is a hygroscopic material that reduces edema by causing absorption of water from surroundings
Ichthammol is antiseptic
