Q

treatment for Retinal tear

A

-Freezing (cryothermy) -destroy cells but leaves fibrous structure intact
-Burning by light (photocoagulation) - xenon arc or argon laser
-Burning by electricity (diathermy) - energy of high frequency transformed to heat, coagulates choroid & retina
