To cover the details of the responsibilities and tasks necessary to carry out policies and programs related to personnel
Operative Functions
Concerned with the selection, hiring and placement of employees
Procurement of employees
Determining objectives and then reducing them into work plans and priorities and specific action plans
Placement and Utilization of employees
Employees acquisition of knowledge, development of skill in the job and proper work attitudes
Training and Development ofemployees
Employees are inspired to work to achieve the objectives of the organization effectively
Motivating Employees
To attract and retain well qualified employees in the organization and to reward them for good performance
Compensating
To promote staffing activities (Basically the whole recruitment process)
Employment
Responsible for helping employees maximize their potentials (better known as the organization’s change agents)
Training and Development
Concerned with paying the employees and administering their benefits package
