Refers to the knowledge that is taught in schools for the purpose of exams and qualifications

Refers to the informal knowledge learning values and attitudes taught in schools
What does Durkheim argue on social solidarity?
Durkheim believed that education brings all pupils through learning subjects such as history, maths and English. It brings a sense of belonging
Role of meritocracy?
Education is meritocratic as it rewards students who work hard based on their achievements in exams and qualifications
