What is equal opportunities?

A

Educational policies between 1994 and 1978 was generally based on social democratic ideas of equality of opportunity. Children from poor background were given same opportunities of children from other social groups. British education would seem as meritocratic

A

In 1965 labour government replaced the tripartite system built on ceonept of equality of oppourtunity meant to be meritocratic than tripartite.
Aimed to take students regardless of Iq test. No matter their ability.
