What are the opposing views on the FFA
Expertise
> by expertising on greebles, show that activation of the FFA is when a person sees familiar objects, and humans happen to be very familiar in faces
Eccentricity hypothesis
> By showing objects in the center and peripheral vision, shows that the activation of FFA is caused by looking at things that are in the middle of the visual field, and faces happen to be in the center of the visual field
Network hypothesis
> FFA is not essential for facial recognition as recognition of items are across different brain regions and network
> Pattern between domains are different, whilst individual items in the same domain differs slightly
