Upward fixation of the patella

Symptom: when horse is walking, toe/leg stays back longer than its supposed to.

Cause: femoral patellar locking aparatus gets stuck on medial ridge of femoral trochlea. if it cant unlock, leg is stuck. (like herpst)

Ruptured proneus tertius

Symptom: Stifle is flexed and Hock is extended at the same time (if reciprocal apparatus is working this shouldnt be possible.)
