A

-Head :
1.Triangular in outline with pointed snout in front
2. Mouth is located ventrally almost at the tip of snout that extends transversally from ear-ear
3. At the tip of snot there are two small and oval openings called external nares or nostrils
4. Presence of large eyes covered by three eyelids
- Outer membranous covering of middle ear called tympanum
- Vocal sac in male

prominent upper eyelid, thin movable lower eyelid, nictitating membrane

Body Division : Trunk

A
  • Head is joined by trunk due to absence of neck
  • Short, flattened
  • Two pair of limbs arise : fore limbs and hind limbs
  • Hind limbs are stronger
  • Copulatory pad in males
  • Each limb consists of proximal part called thigh or femur

  • Two layers : outer epidermis and inner epidermis
