The overman
Higher type of individual. One who has overcome the old belief and overcoming their pity need weakness and loneliness.
Overmans remain faithful to the earth
True friend
Not overcome by pity
Thou shalt dragon
Persistently insists one load upon the self the greatest of burdens
Ex: born with original sin
Eternal affirmation of life
Life is celebrated. Ask the question
If you had to live your life over and over an infinite number of times without change would you say yes or no.
If no one needs to shake destiny to form this necessary life experience.
Thoughts on god
We do not need to look past life to tradition notions of God to find an answer to life’s purpose or meaning. Find relationship with eternity itself
His philosophy
No absolutes in morality. Must see good and evil as social constructions. One must be beyond good and evil.
Free will seen as an oversimplification of reality.
We are expressions of the whole
Life must be affirmed celebrated and loved
God is dead
Means that Nietzsche no longer saw God as a viable source for any absolute moral principles
The last man
Common herd mentality
The last man is tired of life takes no risks and seeks comfort and security.
The will to power
Main driving force in humans such as ambition and reaching the highest Possible position in life.
Main thoughts
Rebellion against western religion. Free spirit
Life plus self is affirmation
