A

Meant to influence or entice

A
Punishment if person doesn’t comply with the order. Threats. Demonstration of harm.

A
Person has legitimate right to influence or prescribe behavior on the follower. The person has an obligation to accept this influence.

A
Based on the perception that manager has some special knowledge or expertise (lawyer)

Referent Power
A
The ability of a leader to influence someone because of how much the peson identifies with him. Based on loyalty, admiration, affection or desire to be like them and gain their approval.
