How do you form le futur simple?
By adding to the complete INFINITIVE of the verb the endings “ai, as, a, ons, ez, ont”
- Je (+ parler) = ai (ie. Je parlerai)
- Tu (+ parler) = as
- Il/Elle/On (+ parler) = a
- Nous (+ parler) = ons
- Vous (+ parler) = ez
- Ils/Elles (+ parler) = ont
How do you form le futur proche?
By using the verb “aller” (to go) in present tense + the main verb in INIFINITIVE
- Je vais (+ parler/manger…)
- Tu vas (+ parler/manger…)
- Il va (+ parler/manger…)
- Nous allons (+ parler/manger…)
- Vous allez (+ parler/manger…)
- Ils vont (+ parler/manger…)
