Establishment Clause?
Denies the government the authority to establish any single religion or denomination as superior
Separation of Church and State?
Thomas Jefferson wrote “I contemplate with sovereign reverence, building a wall of separation between church and state”
Free Exercise Clause?
- Protects the right of individuals to practice their religion without government interference
- People are free to worship without fear of persecution

1) Protects people from unreasonable search and seizure
