humans are self-determining, so choose our thoughts and action, but we can also be influenced by factors but we can choose to reject these

- the brain was found to actively determine the outcome of siple choices up to 20 secs before we are aware of making a decision
- criminality gene
- internal working model

what is the interactionist approach to free will and determinism?
A
soft (cognitive- we operate withi our schema but can change our schema) and reciprocal (self, environment and predetermined all have an influence on each other)
