Q

what are the stages of secondary healing?

A
  1. debris removed and bone ends resorbed -> macrophages and osteoclasts
  2. granulation tissue forms -> fibroblasts
  3. cartilage formed (soft callus) -> chondroblasts
  4. bone matrix (enchondral ossification) -> osteoblasts
  5. calcium mineralisation (hard callus)
