How do you change an improper fraction into a mixed fraction?

A

Look at how many of the denominator go into the numerator and use that as the new numerator and the remainder is placed as a big number tot the left while we keep the denominator the same .

So there is 1 remainder from 9 and 8
and 8 is 2x4
