Q

Explain why writing is considered the most important advancement that Civilizations made?

A

Writing is considered the most important advancement that civilizations made because that was the start of our history and culture. Prehistory is the the time before written records, so once these civilizations began to write and form their own language we were able to be recorded back in time. Writing marked our start on the timeline in history as it was the most important advancement that civilizations made.

27
Q

Explain some things that government provided for early civilizations, and tell why each was important.

A

The government provided laws, rules, roles, and guidance for early civilizations. Without laws in a civilization, the order and flow of how things work would easily be dismantled and chaotic. The laws and rules are made for everyone to follow and abide to a fair set of guidelines in order to have a disciplined society. Roles within a civilization helps the civilization continue to grow and prosper as more things are getting done and accomplished. Guidance helps the civilization stay focused in what needs to be done in order for everyone to have what they need. Without guidance, many people within the civilization may be mislead and turn to things that would harm the civilization rather than help it.
