Xiao Chaihu Tang In the cases with thirst
remove the Banxia and add more Renshen to previous dosage to make a total of 4 and 1/2 liang (9-18g), as well as add 4 liang (8-16g) of Gualougen (Tianhuafen).
Xiao Chaihu Tang In cases with abdominal pain
remove the Huangqin and add 3 liang (6-12g) of Shaoyao (Bai, Chi, Chao).
Xiao Chaihu Tang If there is a hard glomus under the ribsides
remove the Dazao and add 4 liang (8-16g) of Muli.
Xiao Chaihu Tang In cases with palpitations under the heart or inhibited urination
remove the Huangqin and add 4 liang (8-16g) of Fuling.
Xiao Chaihu Tang In cases with no thirst, and a slight fever on the exterior,
remove the Renshen and add 3 liang (6-12g) of Gui. Take warm with covers to obtain a slight sweat for resolution.
Xiao Chaihu Tang In cases with a cough,
remove the Renshen, Dazao and Shengjiang, and add 1/2 sheng (8-16g) of Wuweizi and 2 liang (4-8g) of Ganjiang.
Xiao Chaihu Tang If there is chest vexation without retching,
remove the Banxia and Renshen, and add one piece (9-32g) of Gualoushi.
Lizhong Wan In cases with pounding above the umbilicus, this is the kidney qi stirring:
remove the Zhu and add 4 liang (8-16g) of Gui.
Lizhong Wan In cases of excessive vomiting,
remove the Zhu and add 3 liang (6-12g) of Shengjiang.
Lizhong Wan In cases of excessive diarrhea,
keep the Zhu (while adding Shengjiang).
Lizhong Wan In cases with palpitations,
add 2 liang (4-8g) of Fuling.
Lizhong Wan In cases with thirst and a desire to drink water,
add Zhu to the original amount increasing it to 4.5 liang (9-18g).
Lizhong Wan In cases with abdominal pain,
add Renshen to the original amount increasing to 4.5 liang (9-18g).
Lizhong Wan In cases of cold,
add Ganjiang to the original amount increasing to 4.5 liang (9-18g).
Lizhong Wan In cases with abdominal fullness,
remove the Zhu, and add 1 piece (6-32g) of Fuzi.
Zhenwu Tang In cases with coughing,
add a 1/2 sheng (8-16g) of Wuweizi, and 1 liang (2-4g) each of Xixin and Ganjiang.
Zhenwu Tang In cases with no inhibited urination,
remove the Fuling.
Zhenwu Tang In cases with diarrhea,
remove the Shaoyao and add 2 liang (4-8g) of Ganjiang.
Zhenwu Tang In cases with retching,
remove the Fuzi and add Shengjiang to the original amount increasing it to a 1/2 jin (16-32g).

For shortness of breath and chest fullness,
increase the Shengjiang
Huangqi Jianzhong Tang
For abdominal fullness,
remove the Dazao and add 2 liang (4-8g) of Fuling
Huangqi Jianzhong Tang
For Lung vacuity,
add 3 liang (6-12g) of Banxia
