1️⃣This phrase shows the reader that Scrooge is happy being at Fred’s house as it emphasises that it only took Scrooge 5 minutes to feel at home with the word home representing family and happiness
Fred is kind, generous and warm-hearted

Mrs Cratchit is angry at Scrooge for underpaying and overworking her husband but bob tells her it is Christmas Day and that you should be forgiving at Christmas. If bob didn’t forgive Scrooge then he may not have been their when Scrooge gave him a raise and said he would endeavour to help his family.
