- issue every three hours
- location of high and low pressure centers, fronts, troughs, outflow boundaries, squall lines, dry lines and an isobaric analysis. This analysis is valid at the synoptic times of 0000
- UTC, 0300 UTC, 0600 UTC, …, 2100 UTC. The latest surface analysis becomes available approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes after these synoptic times.
