Operational CPA
- Safety: accident prevention controls provide the work environment acceptable to workers.
- Environment: In order to control environmental costs, operational planning must consider efficient ways to address environmental standards and expectations.
- People: People are the most significant variable in achieving goals.
Product CPA
Production: primary product of forest operataions is logs in m3. secondary products also contribute.
Financial: include all revenue and costs.
Quality: quality of the product affects the value, but also bears a cost.
Physical Plan organization
The total production will be the main denominator for cost evaluation and comparisons (giving $/m3) and will be used throughout the term of the plan.
Financial Plan organizaion
Capital: sourced from investment in company, retained earning, loands. used to purchase assets over a duration of severl years.
Operating Expenses: expenses needed to utilize the assets to produce the product.
Operational Plan purpose
Optimize the utilization of resources, provide financial direction to maximize profit, establish control to meet production commitments or offer contingencies, schedule production, equpiment and people.
Other planning information needed
Harveste levels: AAC or Mill or customer requirements
Development: layout and approval status, location, species, cost profections
