pathology?
- pain around the anterior aspect of the calcaneus extending toward the 2nd metatarsal head
- pain when first standing up after waking which gradually lessens throughout the day
Plantar fasciitis
medial calcaneal tubercle, heel pain
what pathology?
- progressive neurological disease
- begins with loss of muscle and sensation of the extremities, usually the feet
Charcot-Marie-Tooth
what compensation for forefoot valgus?
Excessive midtarsal or subtalar supination
what compensatory motion for forefoot varus?
Rearfoot pronation
what compensatory motion for functional forefoot valgus?
Medial (internal) tibial rotation
