- Lay on their back with knee fully extended
- Stabilize thigh with hand
- Dorsiflex the foot to stretch gastroc muscle

A
- Plantar fasciitis –> chronic
- Fat pad syndrome –> both
- Heel spurs –> chronic

A
- Squat test, collapse of arch
- Tightness in gastroc
- Soleus and FHL
- Pain over medial calcaneal tubercle

A
- Overpronation of foot
- If arch collapses

- Progressive heel pain
- Pain is worse in the morning

- Avoid activities that worsen pain
- Correct biomechanics, change in footwear, orthotics
- Calf stretches on the wall, towel scrunches
