1) dissolve in water
2) add Benedict’s solution
3) heat for 5 minutes in a water bath

1) dissolve in water
2) add (equal amounts of) biuret solution
How do you test for FAT?
1) add ethanol until dissolved
2) transfer ethanol and food mixture into water
How do you test for STARCH?
1) dissolve in water
2) add iodine
