Q

What does it mean for the UK if we invest in agribusiness?

A
  • If the UK invests in Agribusiness then this means that greater numbers and ranges of products are able to be grown in the UK extending the growing season which can reduce the need for transporting crops from other areas in the world
  • You can also invest in growing crops in new ways which may mean that land is not needed to be used or food and that food can be grown in new locations closer to consumers
