It is real world situation, that make student come up with real world solutions. Think of SBT
What is the difference between instructional aid and training media?
Instructional Aids: are not self supporting
Training aids: is self supporting, they transmits a message to the student by itself, think of a book.
When should you use an instructional aid?
long descriptions of technical stuff, a complex point that is difficult to explain in words, when an instructor is painting a mental image with words
Why are instructional aids useful?
They gain and hold the attention of a student, they provide the student with an accurate image, better students retention, make learning easier
