INDICATED: Adult Fluid Therapy
* Medical conditions without haemorrhage
* Medical conditions with haemorrhage
* Trauma related haemorrhage
* Burns
* Limb crush inj.
Child Fluid Therapy
* Medical conditions
*Trauma related haemorrhage
* Burns
Flush
* A flush to confirm patency of and IV /IO cannula
* Flush post drug administration
ACTION: Increase vascular fluid volume, raise cardiac output and improve perfusion.
CONTRA: None
SIDE EFFECTS: Over perfusion may precipitate pulmonary oedema and DIB.
