Electrical Power Up (Cold aircraft)

A

If service power is on, turn off (ground level service panel) before completing following steps

  1. Batt 1on
  2. Wait for the sound of the relays to finish connecting down below
  3. Batt 2 on
  4. Wait 90 seconds
  5. APU switch ON
  6. Wait for APU DOOR OPEN
  7. APU switch START for 4 seconds

Wait for EICAS to finish scrolling, then complete (CHKL>PROC>Supplemental Proc)

4)Door test

All other flights including FFOD:
1) EICAS - Check
2) Overhead panel - 12 O’Clock & dark
3) Lights - Set (Seatbelts and Nav&Logo - On)
4) FCP - Set (Spd collar & XFR to PF)
5) Center panel- Set
6) Lower pedestal- Checked
7) EICAS & INFO pgs - Check for appropriate messages

Approach set up flow

A

“Build it, Bug it, Brake it, Brief it”

Build it - Build Appr in FMS
Bug it - Set FLAPS and VREF speed (PERF>ARR), and DA mins (CTP)
Brake it - Set auto brakes per LPR (65/85 -100 or 75/95 -300)
Brief it - Brief the approach
