Flight Time Limitations

Acclimatised?

Answer 1

When a crew member finishes a duty period at a place where the local time differs by more than 3 hours from his home base time zone, straightaway he will be considered as unacclimatised.

Question 2

To become Acclimatised again?

Answer 2

A. Finished duty period at home base, no more than 48 hours after the start of the last duty period which took them away from their home base time zone, or
b. They have completed a Recovery Period.

Question 3

Long Range Operations (LRO)

Answer 3

An operation by a two crew aircraft that includes a sector with a scheduled sector time greater than 10 hours but not greater than 16 hours.

Question 4

Ultra Long Range Operation(ULRO)

Answer 4

An operation by a two crew aircraft that includes a sector with a scheduled sector time greater than 16 hours, and where four pilots are boarded so that in-flight Relief can be provided.
