Explain the flight pattern
A
1) on the upwind pitch for 65 kts until 400’ where flaps will be set to cruise. pitch for 75 KTS.
2) 500-700’ turn L. X-wind.
3) 800-1000’ turn L. Downwind. Level off. Maintain 90-100 KTS
4) abeam midfield perform GUMPS
5) abeam landing point, begin descent:
- power to idle
- flaps T/O
- pitch 85 KTS
6) once view is at 45 degree angle of landing point, turn L base
7) on base
- 75 KTS
- flaps LDG
8) turn final and pitch for 65 KTS
