Top of the bottom red and black tape.
What is the Mach/Airspeed Overspeed aural warning? How do you silence it?
Aural Clacker / can only be silenced by slowing down.
What does the Pitch Limit Indication (PLI) indicate?
Indicates pitch limit or stick shaker activation.
On the altitude tape, what does the amber crosshatched area represent on approach at destination?
FMC landing elevation or departure elevation if still within 400 nm of departure or one half distance to destination whatever occurs first.
With Minimums Reference Indicator on EFIS panel set to BARO, what does the triangular pointer and line (green) on the Altitude Display represent?
Displays the selected baro altitude minimums.
When does Radio Altitude appear on the attitude indicator?
Below 2500 ft AGL.
When does the ALTITUDE DISAGREE Alert appear?
Captain’s and F/O’s altitude indications disagree by more than 200 ft for more than 5 continuous seconds.
What does DISPLAYS CONTROL PANEL (amber) indicate?
Indicates a failed EFIS Control Panel on the affected side.
What does INSTR SWITCH (amber) indicate?
Indicates both the Captain’s and First Officer’s displays are using the same source of IRU data.
